David Page, Director of Triceratops Training looked at The Place of Storytelling in Fundraising.
The presentation investigated how to find a story to tell, how to create an interesting structure and what elements of a story are the most important to get right.

How To Talk To Funders About Impact
Wednesday, 14th February, 11.00am (approx. timing 1.5 hours)
Jason Pollard, Impactor in Chief of Community Impact takes you through the questions funders typically ask about impact measurement, data collection, and reporting the difference you make to beneficiaries through your work. He shows you how to frame your responses, and make sure you have the evidence you need to do this effectively. Using a case study, Jason explains (in jargon-free language!) how charities can easily develop outcomes, and use these to write surveys and focus group questions.
