SPARKS Fund- Empowering communities

(Round 2) Grants up to £2,000- open for applications. 

Objective: To empower communities that have been impacted by Covid19 and its wider impacts on health and wellbeing.  Enabling communities to have increased participation, engagement and a role and say in how things are done on matters that impact them and where they live through small-scale community-led initiatives that benefit the local community and residents in the highlighted areas below.

Areas to be supported: Elmbridge (focus on Walton South, Walton North, Cobham & Downside) and *Epsom & Ewell (focus on Court area).

* We particularly would like to encourage community groups from Epsom and Ewell to apply for the SPARKS fund.

Priority will be given to applications that:

• • Invest in residents and community-led activities that will benefit local residents and neighbourhoods.
  • Will help build community connection and resilience, while mitigating the impact of Covid19 and increases in the cost of living.
