COVID-19 has left a lasting impact on our communities, affecting health, well-being, and the ability to connect and thrive. The SPARKS Fund is here to empower and uplift communities by supporting small-scale, resident-led initiatives that make a real difference where it matters most.
Our Mission
The SPARKS Fund is dedicated to enabling communities to actively participate in shaping the matters that affect their lives. By investing in community-led activities, we aim to build stronger connections, foster resilience, and address the challenges brought by COVID-19 and the cost of living.
What We’re Offering
We’re facilitating a small grants program (£2000 max)
- Elmbridge: Walton South, Walton North, Cobham & Downside
- Epsom & Ewell: Court area
- Mole Valley: Holmwood’s area
Who Can Apply?
Grants are open to resident and community-led groups working to benefit residents, especially in areas experiencing the greatest need. Priority will be given to:
- Health and Wellbeing (HWB) key neighbourhoods
- Areas facing deprivation
- Groups supporting HWB Strategy priorities
What Projects Can Be Funded?
We’re looking to support activities that:
- Strengthen community connections
- Build resilience against challenges like COVID-19 and the cost of living
- Inspire further initiatives to benefit neighbourhoods
