Central Surrey Voluntary Action (CSVA) in partnership with Elmbridge Community Fishing Academy launched The Elmbridge Friendship & Fishing Group on Thursday 30 May 2019 at the serene and picturesque setting of Apps Court Farm in Walton-on-Thames. Elmbridge Friendship & Fishing is a volunteer-led group open of anyone who is interested in fishing and making friends in Surrey. The group gets together on Thursday mornings to enjoy the experience of angling and a chat in the relaxed, tranquil atmosphere.

The group is open to people of all ages and no experience necessary. We have on hand the support & encouragement from Elmbridge Community Fishing Academy’s Qualified Angling Coach, Alan Pettipher. The launch was well-attended with Counsellor Rachael Lake, who will be supporting the group in her role with Elmbridge Community Fishing Academy as long with Margaret Hicks, Sally Dubery & Eamonn McNamee from Central Surrey Voluntary Action.

The Friendship and Fishing Group will meet every Thursday from 10am-1pm at Apps Court Farm, Hurst Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, KT12 2EG all equipment, bait and coaching will be provided. The only cost will be for a day session pass for the Match Lake at the concessionary rate for the group of £5 per session and if you decide to continue with at the group a Rod Fishing License.
