Blink is our Youth Group that is held weekly in Camberley. The group supports young people aged 11-17 years old with a learning disability to engage in a wide range of activities. The group offers an opportunity for the service users to socialise and engage in new experiences. Three of the sessions are held at The Old Dean Centre where they have movie nights, karaoke, crafts, cooking sessions and games nights. The 4th session of the month is an offsite session where the group goes out into the community, bowling at the Atrium. The staff and volunteers are there to help develop their confidence and independence with their peers. The group meets on a Wednesday in term time between 6.15-8.45pm. These timings are for the staffing team. They all meet for 15 minutes before to discuss the activity and the users attending. The group is run by a trained Group Leader alongside a playworker from LinkAble.
