We are looking for volunteers to support the Christmas Tree Collection in January 2024!
You can choose from those 2 roles:
Assistant Volunteer – You’ll be assisting Volunteer Driver and visiting residential properties to collect trees, pruning them to enable easier loading, loading them onto a van, and offloading them at drop-off locations for recycling.
Volunteer Driver – You will be driving along a provided route, visiting residential properties to collect trees and helping with loading and unloading the van. If you happen to have a van/truck, we would love for you to volunteer with it, but if not, no worries, we’ll happily provide one for you!
This is a short-term volunteering role, taking place between 12 January – 16 January 2024 in local areas.
If you can spare half a day or more – we would love to hear from you!
Make sure you have appropriate clothing and accessories to protect yourself from any harsh weather conditions. We will have snacks and drinks available to last you throughout the day.
· Safely able to move and handle large items · Good communication skills · Good team work · Friendly and approachable
