This role would suit a someone who is looking to volunteer but does not have much spare time to offer!

Do you enjoy working outdoors and like to keep your neighbourhood environment looking good?

A churchyard working party was founded in 1993 to reclaim the lower churchyard for the Lingfield community. It was completely overgrown and people were unable to walk through the area or visit the graves of their relatives in peace.

Unless the wonderful work carried out over the last twenty-five years continues, the brambles, hedges, grass and saplings will win the battle and reclaim the land for themselves - the current members of the team are getting older and the next generation of volunteers are required.

A working party takes place on the first Saturday morning each month.

Bring your own tools, gloves, etc.

Join us on the first Saturday of each month 9:30 - 12:30, followed by refreshment at The Star.

What skills do I need?
