Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, help secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain the services they need. Volunteer Citizen Advocates are an integral and much valued part of our Advocacy service. The role requires a non-judgemental attitude, patience, understanding and a genuine interest in the needs of disabled people. Citizen Advocacy is free, independent and confidential.
