We are looking for volunteers to help support the COVID-19 vaccine by marshalling at the COVID-19 vaccination site at NESCOT.
Our volunteers will help us to enable the flow within our vaccination site to be seamless, ensuring that the residents of Surrey have an experience of their vaccination which is positive and managed in a professional way.
· Managing the flow of patients into and out of the site through the one-way flow
· Liaising with staff onsite regarding patient flow & management
· Ensuring that social distancing is maintained within the premises
· Helping with other light duties as requested by the Duty Support Officer
No specific qualifications are required for this role.
Good communication skills, pleasant demeanour and general ability to help and direct people are essential.
A current Enhanced DBS certificate is required. If you do not have an up to date DBS, this can be provided
As we work with a large number, and wide variety of people including individuals who may be vulnerable, applicants
Vaccination Sessions run from 08.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 1.30pm to 6.30pm every day (except for occasional sessions which may be cancelled due to clinical staff non-availability) The hours that volunteers offer can be flexible in 2 or 3 hourly sessions but we would hope to cover the vaccination sessions from start to finish to ensure that patient flow is managed adequately. For example sessions could be: 08.30am – 11.30am, 11.30am – 2.30pm, 2.30pm – 4.30pm and 4.30pm - 6.30pm
