In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Brigitte Trust is expanding its telephone support service to offer emotional support to any adult in the Surrey area who is vulnerable, lonely, isolated, bereaved or a carer who needs someone to chat to.

We currently have enough capacity in our volunteer base to respond to demand but this will change as  the volume increases.

Training - There will be a light touch training course to enable new volunteers to do the emotional phone support service. Volunteers will be asked to commit to two 90 minute sessions and this will be done over Zoom.
