Ashford Helping Hands are looking for Duty Officers who can help Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm. Duty Officers work on a rota basis from home, when on duty they need to be at home to take clients calls and then match the request with available volunteer drivers.
They also need to keep the records for their 'shift' up-to-date! The frequency of work is up to you and your circumstances - from several times a week to once a month. Telephone costs are reimbursed.
It is helpful if the duty officer can drive so they can pass the organisations files and mobile phone to the next duty officer on the rota.
Organised, patient, and interested in helping others.
Clients can be any age.
