Claridge House needs a trustee with fundraising experience to support new projects and ongoing programme of rest and renewal.

In 2016 we registered as a CIO and our priority is to get the house onto a sound, sustainable, ethical, financial basis, and to find new ways to offer rest and renewal. We need to raise funds for further major exterior refurbishment of our patio to improve accessibility to a wider group of guests to enjoy the lovely garden.  We also want to increase our bursary fund for retreats and courses for people who might not have the financial means.

Please note that as Claridge House is a CIO, trustees financial liability is limited to £1.

We run a Bed and Breakfast business to support our core charitable work. We are currently exploring partnerships with other Quaker Centres, refugee groups and local care providers and there are 7 Trustees.

Meetings take place  in Lingfield from 10.00 -15.00 on a Wednesday every three months including lunch. You would work remotely with staff on active projects, approximately two hours per week.
