General volunteers

Holme Farm is a volunteer-led, community-based charity working locally to support people and strengthen our community. Everything we do is shaped and delivered by volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers to support our activities and events. Tasks vary and can be shaped around your interests, skills, and availability. You don’t need any special experience – just a willingness to get involved. You might be interested in supporting with the following:

• Help with admin tasks
• Support other volunteers (in the gardens or workshops)
• Assist with organising, welcoming people, or practical tasks
• Take on extra responsibility if you’d like to

Volunteering with us is a chance to:

• Give something back to your local community
• Meet new people and feel part of a friendly team
• Use your skills – or learn new ones
• Make a real difference, however much time you can give

No matter your age, background, or experience, there is a place for you with us.

What skills do I need?

Holme farm welcome the following as volunteers:

• People over 18
• People with any level of experience – including none
• People from all backgrounds and communities
