Brewing Friendships is an exciting new pilot project being run out of Ewell United Reform Church.
The Project aims to assist people who attend weekly sessions to learn skills to help them be more resilient and self sufficient in the future by counter acting the impact of isolation on vulnerable members of the community.
Brewing Friendships is currently looking for a group helper to assist in there weekly meetings.
The Successful Volunteer will be helping to create a friendly and safe environment for guests, by offering friendship and refreshments and ensuring all guests are well tended too.
A friendly chat in between activities and some guidance if requested completes the role.
The Organisation requires someone who is reliable, friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable chatting to others.
they will be setting up and clearing away each week if needed.
Someone who can help with refreshments.
1pm – 4.30pm The life of each group is for six weeks with one week break in-between each group. As much as possible, we would like the volunteers to be available for each group of 6-sessions, however they don’t have to be available for all of the groups throughout the year.
