We are a charity, inspiring people with disabilities and long-term health issues to discover their creative energy and build self confidence through art. Working at their own pace in supportive groups, our members find both relaxation and fresh stimulus, along with the opportunity to make new friends.
Volunteers make our groups happen. So your few hours a week could make a real difference to people's lives. We are seeking group helpers to re-open and support our Epsom Group.
As a volunteer you will need to be 18 or over and part of a team.
A good team will include organisational skills, artistic experience, finance management and making the refreshments. Volunteers are the people who make Conquest Art possible.
Could you join the team?
Not every volunteer needs artistic ability, but you do need to be a ‘people person’ – enthusiastic, and ready to help create a friendly, welcoming environment where members feel relaxed and able to make the most of their time with us.
The Epsom groups re-opens on Tuesday, 1st February 2022 and will be held every week from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
* Due to Covid-19 and national lockdown the group has been closed for nearly two years and we need to build up a volunteer team for the reopening. Thankfully we have the Group Leader but in desperate need of Group Helpers. Please give us a call if you would like to find out more on how our groups will run and what the role will involve.
