Citizens Advice Runnymede and Spelthorne (CARS) is looking for a friendly individual enjoys speaking with people and giving a voice to their stories. The Healthwatch Project Volunteer at CARS works in conjunction with Healthwatch Surrey. Healthwatch Surrey is a statutory organisation that listens to what local people have to say about the health and social care services they access. Their views and concerns are taken to decision makers, to influence and improve how local services are run.
The Healthwatch Project volunteer will be given a list of people who have consented to be contacted by telephone about their experiences with the health services. This information will then be recorded and reported back to Healthwatch Surrey.
There are no specific qualification required as full training and ongoing support will be given however this role will suit someone who:
