We are looking for volunteers who can offer a variety of skills to solve small jobs / tasks for others in the community. Examples include driving folk to the hospital, hairdressers, shops, surgeries, clinics, clubs etc, odd jobs (limited painting, fixing lights, doors, moving furniture etc), occasional cleaning (hoovering, spring cleaning, fridges), occasional gardening (weeding, mowing, general clearing), visiting - usually in homes, sometimes in hospital, helping with form filling, shopping, collecting pensions and prescriptions.

This opportunity will involve a Criminal Records Bureau check.

What skills do I need?

A high level of patience and interested in helping others. You don't need to be able to drive to do the work, but you need a clean full driving licence if you are specifically volunteering as a driver.
