Have you enjoyed volunteering during Covid 19? Do you want to keep helping your community? Every year our volunteers support more than 130 families in Woking and Runnymede, giving crucial help that allows them to give their children the best possible start in life. Every family faces difficulties and we support families with young children when they need us the most.
We need people who want to make a difference to families and children in their local community to volunteer with us. If you have been a parent or have skills in teaching, social care, marketing, HR or business we would welcome your expertise.
Could you be a hands-on home visiting volunteer? Last year we helped 200 children. You can help us to help bring other vulnerable children out of lock-down, back into education and social activities and back on track to reach their developmental milestones.
Volunteers' Preparation Courses (free) are run throughout the year. For dates please contact us on 01932 571122 and speak to Jenny Jones or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our next informal training course for new volunteers will commence in March 2021
(via Zoom if restrictions are still in place)
If you have parenting experience and a couple of hours to spare each week why not become a home visiting volunteer and be a lifeline for a local family.
