We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to join our friendly team who provide a range of fun activities for people with learning disabilities at our weekly Social Club.
The Kites Club is a social gathering which takes place every Thursday evening, 6:00 to 8.00 p.m. The Club provides a variety of activities including arts and crafts, music, baking and games. We also provide light snacks and refreshments
We need volunteers to help us;
Set up space in advance of the club opening, Join in with and facilitate the clubs activities, pack away and close the club at the end of the night.
We are looking for friendly and reliable people who can help us in a variety of ways ranging from developing, running or just supporting activities to assisting with refreshments.
If you have time available on Thursday evenings and want a rewarding role helping others, have fun and work alongside a great team.
We are looking for reliable and friendly people with good communication skills and a caring attitude. The individuals need to become comfortable working with people with learning disabilities. This is also a great opportunity for people with a creative streak to come forward with ideas and implement them.
Hours of opportunity: Thurs from 18:00-21:00 hrs.
