Leatherhead Diabetes Walk and Talk is a new initiative providing 2 hour sessions at Leatherhead Leisure Centre, Mondays 10.00-12 noon.  The scheme requires an assistant to:

Greet participants on arrival and monitor attendance.

While W&T leaders take participants on the walk, the role is likely to involve setting up the room and being available for any participants who have needed to leave the walk early or have arrived too late, ensuring they have someone to talk to. On some occasions, the role may involve joining the walk and assisting the W&T leader.

Offer tea and coffee to participants when they return from walk.

Aid the Walk & Talk leaders, as required, during group discussions.

Help clear up the room at end of session.
