Inside the Luminarium, visitors will wander through a glowing maze of domes, tunnels and serene light-filled spaces — all powered by natural daylight and each piece handmade. The result is a peaceful, otherworldly encounter that has captivated millions of people in more than 40 countries.
Visit Staines are looking for event stewards
to support this wonderful event.
As a volunteer you will:
Welcome visitors in a friendly manner, supporting and guiding them
around the exhibition.
Deliver a number of tasks and activities including welcome
greetings and safety speeches, assisting access patrons, and facilitating
reception area and ticketing. There are unique tasks we require all
stewards to participate in, in which specific skills are utilised and
garnered.
Attend briefings, where essential information for an event is
communicated. (These may be online or in person TBC)
Participate in fire evacuations and other general emergency
procedures. You will also assist in carrying out safety checks and help
ensure that visitors are safe throughout their visit.
Report any audiences behaviour that is not permitted during our
shows.
Listen to and take feedback from our visitors, to help us to learn
and improve.
