Could you be music to our ears?

This role is ideal for anyone with an interest in working in the music tech industry, licensing, and/or the creative charity sector.

Include.org is a small but exciting charity based in Redhill, Surrey. We work with people with learning disabilities and autism through the Include Choirs. We sing and sign to raise awareness of communication needs and of people’s rights to be heard and understood. We aim to give a feeling of inclusion and the laughter and enthusiasm we experience tells us we are getting it right.

In addition to the live choirs, we pivoted rapidly during Covid to taking this to Facebook Live and through Zoom Sessions each week. We continue to do this.

We are looking for proactive and creative music technicians who can edit and/or improve the sound quality of our existing backing tracks, which are played on a keyboard, recorded on an iPad, shared and then played through an iPad and speaker. It’s not the most technically elegant solution!

The ideal volunteer will help to create backing tracks with a sound quality which is as professional as possible, while being aware of the copyright restrictions of sharing music online via different platforms.

Initially visits to our choir sessions are recommended, but the role can be carried out remotely after you have a feel for what is needed.
