You would be involved in the planning and running regular unit meetings, providing a balanced and varied programme of activities.
You will work with qualified Leaders and have the opportunity to progress to Leadership if desired.
Our programme is constantly evolving, keeping pace with modern times, allowing our girls to make the right life choices for themselves whilst having fun, learning new skills and making new friends in a safe environment.
This also allows our leaders and helpers to have fun too!
Any skills, attributes, experiences are always valuable to us to pass on to the girls and to enhance our programmes.
All training is provided by Girlguiding, and times will be flexible to suit the volunteer, but most meetings are in the week day between 4 – 9pm, depending on the section. Most meetings are 1.5 hours long. May be able to help at special events in addition to regular sessions.
