If only these walls could talk!  If you are passionate about what has gone before - this is your chance to tell visitors to Chartwell near Westerham about the history.  Each room is full of treasure about Sir Winston Churchill.    Room guides makes such a difference to the visitor experience.   You will welcome visitors and guide them through each piece in the room if they ask and share with them why it is so important to care for such special places like Chartwell.   

You don't need to know the history of the universe but you will get to know a lot of facts and figures about Chartwell and Sir Winston Churchill - so that you are ready to answer those unexpected questions!    As part of the role you will need to familiarise yourself with health and safety and evacuation procedures . 

This role would suit you if you are available at the weekend and at least once a fortnight, full of enthusiasm, hoping to inspire visitors of all ages, someone who loves being around people and you'll meet a lot each day, interested in Winston Churchill and Chartwell.

What skills do I need?

The role would suit you if you are friendly and like chatting with people and have a passion for sharing knowledge and information.  No prior knowledge of Churchill or Chartwell are required.
