The Contact Centre is run by a dedicated group of trained volunteers under the auspices of a Coordinator and an Executive Committee - all of whom are volunteers. All day to day business is delegated to them, including how the Centre actually operates on the 2 Saturdays a month when it is open for families, but the trustees help them whenever necessary. This involves giving support by making sure they have enough staff and facilities to carry out the task of providing a safe, secure and pleasant environment in which children and parents can meet.
We are looking for someone to attend our trustee meetings which take place quarterly, in an evening (usually a Tuesday), take the minutes and email them to the Trustees, send out an agenda before the next meeting, and also do the same for our A.G.M. Various papers for the A.G.M. would also be needed to be collated.
Ability to take accurate notes at trustee meetings,
Good ability to use MS Word and Email etc.
Able to treat information confidentially
