We need a helping hand to use social media to promote our volunteer opportunities, our organisation and also our Volunteer Fair & Tandridge Local Heroes Awards.
If you're a whizz at social media and a great communicator you can make a difference as part of the TVA volunteer team. We'd love to use social media to spread the word about our volunteer opportunities and we need a helping hand from a creative person to build on our existing postings.
The ideal volunteer for this role will be energetic, inventive, social media and web savvy and brimming with ideas about creative ways to engage audiences with TVA's mission.
While assisting with a wide range of projects, volunteers will gain hands on experience and support in many areas of communications and the charity sector.
TVA can offer you a chance to make a difference and help an organisation working to transform our local community. You'll be working in an office environment within the charity sector, gaining skills and experience. In return for your time, hard work and great ideas we can offer you:
Support and supervision
A positive and friendly work environment
Reasonable travel expenses covered
Flexible hours - ideally at least a day per week although half a day would be extremely beneficial. There is potential to do this role from home if that would be your preference.
If we could find someone with experience of working in a social media role, it would be great, however if you are an experienced and keen user of social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn this would be fantastic!
Have an interest in, and proficiency with, social media.
Have good written skills with attention to detail.
