Using vintage barista skills: hot water and instant coffee (or tea) milk-job done and ready to go… Making sure tea, coffee, juice and water, sugar, milk are accessible, topped-up, and ready to-go, clean cups available (we do have the use of a dishwasher), wipe/clean down surfaces. Sometimes, assisting with carrying refreshments for those that would require. Setting out tables, and closing-down at the end of a meeting, putting and packing items away.
We need a person that maybe be a Veteran, Family member of the Armed Forces or just interested in the work that SHV&F-LP does, to assist us. This fantastic opportunity would be from 9:45am – 1:30pm every 2nd Tuesday of the month. There will also be the potential of attending our outreach events too, such as open days in and around Surrey and Hampshire.
lf you enjoy meeting people, listening, able to work on your own initiative, and part of a supportive team; as well as being part of the Veterans & Families community. The amazing role of a vintage barista assistant at SHV&F-LP could be for you. Whether you like to grind, shake or stir your beans, let us know. We’d like to hear from you – soon.
Food handling certificate, even better; but NOT compulsory.
