Our aim is to give every visitor a great day out!

Welcoming families with children is a priority for us. You will provide a helpful and friendly service for each family who comes to Standen. You will ensure they know what's on offer during their visit and that they make best use of the facilities available in the Apple Store and Plantation Play Area, engaging them with the stories of childhood at Standen. You will also be willing to help develop and run children's activity/event days.

What's in it for you? Becoming part of a friendly and dedicated team. The chance to use and develop your skills in this beautiful place with its elegant house, beautiful gardens and spectacular views. Meeting people from all walks of life and making new friends. Enjoying new experiences and learning something new every day. The opportunity to become involved in other areas of volunteering at Standen.
