Our play services aim to help children feel safer, less stressed and better able to deal with the separation from their imprisoned family member.  Our programme gives children the opportunity to interact with their loved one through play and allows them to have fun and be creative.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for Volunteer Play Workers to work alongside the Family Services’ Team, supporting children who are visiting a relative in prison.  This mainly involves working in the Play Area, providing supervised play and supporting child-centred visits. These can include family days, homework clubs, and toddler and baby groups in which the child is able to leave the visits table and engage in a range of activities provided by Pact.
