We hope to open the Walton-on-Thames Repair Café to the general public in early 2022 – but will be forming our team of ‘repairers’ in advance of this.
We are looking for people who are either qualified or skilled at repairing items: specifically those who can help with electrics, electronics, textiles, clothing, furniture, toys, bicycles, jewellery, watches, woodwork and metal work. We are looking for people who are available for about three-hours per month when the Repair Café is open.
All repairers need to illustrate a level of competence, either through qualification or experience, and should be willing to work with visitors, showing them how to identify problems with their item and involve them in the fixing process.

Whilst the exact day and timing of the café has not yet been decided, it is likely that it will take place on a regular Saturday morning each month, dependant on volunteer availability.
