The Caterham Community Partnership (CCP) is a limited liability company that evolved out of the “A Better Caterham” initiative, in the mid-2000s. It has a good track record of seeding initiatives including the now adopted Neighbourhood Plan for Caterham Chaldon and Whyteleafe. The CCP is now at a crossroads and needs to understand what its options are for the future. We need to ask local stakeholders what they need of a non-politically aligned organisation in the Neighbourhood Plan Area in the future.

To help us do this we need the help of a Volunteer who would Initially carry out the research and then continue on with the organisation afterwards, as a member of the Partnership,  to help us implement what emerges from the survey findings.

The role would include;

-Arranging for CCP members and supporters to meet with individuals and community groups and get information about their wishes and aspirations for Caterham.

-Carrying our interviews by phone or in person.

-Analysing the information that emerges from the survey.

-Working with the directors and members of the CCP to work out how to put the outputs of the survey into practice.

-Carrying out other research into topics that come under the purview of the CCP, for example Community Transport

This role would suit the kind of person who would be comfortable in their ability to record information, be comfortable talking on the phone or in person and have an enquiring mind to query and challenge currently accepted views if necessary.
